In today’s Deutsch spotlight, we introduce you to Mikey Perry. Mikey is a very social, outgoing person who makes new friends wherever he goes. He has competed many times in the Paul O’Hora Bowling league and can often be found at The Deutsch Institute’s various dances and events. Mike’s other passion is automobiles. From classic 1950s hot rods to today’s tuner cars, Mikey enjoys them all. But he’s not just a spectator, Mikey has his own customized Toyota Tercel.

One of Mikey’s family members was about to send the 1987 Toyota Tercel to the junkyard when Mikey stepped in and decided to save it. Inspired by his favorite monster truck, Grave Digger, Mikey gave the Tercel a bright green paint job with airbrushed details. The custom airbrush details were applied to the rear spoiler, under the hood, and the interior. To finish the customization of his Tercel, Mikey added aftermarket wheels and a custom sound system. He has won several trophies at car shows and made countless friends in the automotive hobby.
