Bridget Pelletier

Today’s Deutsch spotlight features one of our newer artists, Bridget Pelletier. Bridget enjoys spending time taking care of her pet parrots, bees, chickens, cat and dog. Bridget recently set some goals for herself, deciding she wanted to spend more time in the community, make new friends, and explore career opportunities.

Bridget joined our art gallery, Verve Vertu, in March of 2024 and quickly began working on her goals. She began making new friends and demonstrated her passion for fashion with her jewelry making. Bridget participated in many of our studio outings including Corning Museum of Glass, Medieval Times in Lyndhurst NJ, Rickett’s Glen, and Knoebels Amusement Park. Bridget and her family even hosted our artists at their home and demonstrated the art of bee keeping, harvesting honey, and made homemade honey lemonade and cookies.

Having accomplished many of her goals and growing in confidence, Bridget decided it was time to focus on her employment goals. She recently visited the Hiram G. Andrews Center and Commonwealth Technical Institute in Johnstown PA and has decided to pursue an Associate degree as a Medical Office Assistant. The comprehensive program covers numerous topics from Medical Terminology to Medical Insurance Billing & Coding to Accounting.

Bridget didn’t just make new friends, she became a role model and demonstrated that you can achieve your goals in life when you diligently work towards them. Everyone at the Deutsch Institute is proud of Bridget’s accomplishments and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
