Thank you to everyone who came out, sponsored, and donated to the Deutsch Institute’s Champagne Brunch on May 18th.  The weather was chilly but you made your warmth felt through your generosity, kind words, and fellowship. We honored Sister Mariam Pfeifer, IHM for her years of service and dedication to the Deutsch Institute. The event, held at the Waldorf Park Social Club, featured delicious food and drink, live music by the Ferdie Bistocchi Memorial Orchestra, basket raffles, and the opportunity to connect with friends both old and new.  All proceeds from the event will be used for the renovation of the community building at Robinson Park, on Scranton’s East Mountain.
