Wayne County Bowling League
It’s 10 degrees on a gloomy January afternoon and tomorrow’s forecast is calling for up to 18 inches of snow, but the Wallenpaupack Bowling Center is filled with cheers, competition, and camaraderie! The Deutsch Institute’s Wayne County bowling league has been providing recreational fun for people with diverse abilities for over 25 years. When asked what he likes best about the bowling league, Tim Bidwell responded “I love being with all my friends, having a good time, and the competition”. His fellow bowler, Brenna Kelly added “the competition is hot and there’s a lot of smack talk, but its all good fun and we’re all friends”. Between games and frames, bowlers made their way to the snack bar or socialized and caught up with their friends. Our Wayne County bowling league is a fantastic way to forget about the doldrums of winter for a few hours!
